Jeffrey Swaney | Board Member

Mr. Swaney joined Workpartners as Vice President of the Workers’ Compensation Division in early, 2017. In this role, he has executive responsibility for the Commercial (fully insured) product segment and the TPA (Third-Party Administration) product for Workpartners. His oversight responsibilities include marketing, underwriting, claims, safety, and medical management for the entire Workers’ Compensation segment.

He has over 40 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry. Prior to working at Workpartners, he served as the Senior Vice President for PMA Companies, a property and casualty insurance company specializing in workers’ compensation. He founded and managed the company’s Midwest operations based in Chicago, IL. In the past he has spoken on various insurance topics including agency management, risk management, safety and risk control, account management, and workers’ compensation underwriting.

Jeff serves on the Governing Board for the PCRB (Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau) and the Board of Directors of the PSIA (Pennsylvania Self-Insured Association).

Mr. Swaney earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University and also earned his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
